HOBBY HOUR

The School believes in developing the whole child; education and literacy are important but art, drama, music and physical education contribute massively to the self-worth of students. The School ensures that every student gets to pursue at least one sport and one curricular activity through the academic year. The hobby hour makes it mandatory for all students to play a sport for three days a week and one curricular activity for two days a week. Our students’ participation in extracurricular and sporting activities promotes socialization, development of leadership skills, focus, and of course healthy bodies with healthy minds.

Greater Valley School strongly believes that all children are bestowed with numerous capabilities, aptitudes and talents. It is therefore the responsibility of the school to foster these talents keeping in mind that each child is an individual with specific needs and aptitude. To cater to each child’s innate qualities the school has made provision for expert coaching in various sports and co-scholastic activities like musical instruments, singing, dancing, swimming, horse-riding, squash, golf etc.
